making upma!
(this should be enough for 3 people)
ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 3 cups of vermicelli
- 6 green chillies
- 1.5 cups of mixed vegetables
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 2 teaspoons of urad dal
- 1.5 teaspoons of salt
- roasted peanuts to garnish
instructions:
- slit the green chilies and cut the onions
- add the oil, urad dal, mustard seeds, chilies, and onions when the pot is hot
- add the frozen vegetables after a minute of sauteing
- add water after 2 minutes and put the lid until the water boils
- add the vermicelli and salt
- wait for all the water to boil away
- garnish with roasted peanuts
